Thorpe Hall Road

Formerly an old victorian coach house situated in the residential suburb of Walthamstow. The proposal was to demolish and rebuild a modern agricultural inspired new-build house. The dark weatherboard is a nod to the ancient Thorpe Hall Farm that used to be on the site. Sustainability being a key component of the brief, It is proposed to reuse the existing bricks from the coach house to form the base of the new building and sustainably source timbers for the first-floor structure and roof.
